In your first year at Impro Brussels you will learn the basics of the craft. The value of the group and to have fun together, in order to unleash our fantasy without judging our ideas. We will also work on storytelling, scenic presence, spacework, and other tools you will need to approach solid scenework.

You have the option to register for the first semester (September 2026 - January 2027) at the beginning of the classes, and register for the second semester (February - June 2027) before the end of January, paying the regular price, 600€ per semester.
Alternatively, you have the possibility to access the Early Bird discount if you register for the second semester (February - June 2027) at the beginning.
How does this work in practice? The fee for the first registration is in common, 600€. Then, if you would like to benefit from the Early Bird discount, you pay 400€ before October 31st, 2026. Otherwise, you pay the regular price of 600€ before January 31st, 2027.

2nd year: Intermediate Class - ALL SOLD OUT
Your second year with Impro Brussels willl be divided in two semesters: Desi Krsteva will focus on genre, character and story development, while Billy Kissa will focus on… you! Your instincts, your choices, and your growth as a performer, with scene analysis and feedback.
The location is the same (Rue de Pervyse, 17, 1040 Etterbeek), the teachers are the same, just switched semesters.
To be paid before 31st October 2026
Completing the registration before the end of October grants you the Early Bird discount, and it gives you access to classes until the end of the season in June 2027.
Complete this after you completed the first payment of 600€ (see above).

It’s just Acting! From Ancient Greece to the present and back
Acting has been a part of human expression for centuries. From Ancient Greek Theatre to modern acting techniques, you will learn more about the origins and evolution of our craft. You will explore the fundamental principles of acting, including character development, emotional truth, scene work and apply them into improvisational theatre.
You will combine scripted and unscripted theatre to help sharpen your observation skills and enhance your performance abilities.

2nd semester, with Desi Krsteva:
Chekhov meets Chekhov
The class will focus on acting teachniques created by Michael Chekhov, such as Radiating and Receiving, Psychological Gesture and Imaginary Centres, to help us build an improvised play in the world of Anton Chekhov.
We will explore themes typical for the Chekhovian plays, such as of unfulfilled desires, fallen nobility, humor and sadness, drama and irony, sincerity and falsehood to learn how to create a bold theatrical drama through improvisation.
